More on the Myth of "the Ministry"

Why is it that many of those we see as the most mature Christians are the most isolated from the world? Should we not honor the calling of the faithful car salesman, plumber, teacher, or public school student as much or more than the Christian singer or Evangelist? Who actually has the greater impact on the world?
